Ultimately, Allison and I are responsible for any advice or work performed by our staff and we need to ensure that a high standard is met to comply with the Tax Practitioners Board and CPA Australia.
We aim to provide the very highest standard of accounting and tax advice and as such we need staff that can adapt to the constant changes that are occurring within the tax system as well as the digital age which the ATO is now operating in. To maintain this standard we are introducing a policy that all our accounting staff have, or be in the process of undertaking, a formal accounting qualification of at least a Diploma level. This is in line with expectations of the Tax Practitioners Board which requires Tax and BAS agents to have formal qualifications that are regularly updated.
We understand that loyalty, rapport and trust are important with your accountant but we also believe it is important to have an accountant that can provide accurate and timely advice, can meet ATO deadlines and complies with the expectations of the Tax Practitioners Board.
